Grace Ebraheem

Bio

Grace Ebraheem is a social worker and a multidisciplinary artist focusing on writing, photography and collage art, based in Homs, Syria, where she lives and is active. She’s studying biology at the University of Homs.

Grace has an experience of more than 4 years in social work in her home city Homs, specially in the fields of peace building. She had worked as a volunteer from 2023 to 2025 with Harmony Cultural Forum that focuses on building peace through art. Later in the same year (from April to September 2025) she was working in another project called “Dialogue for Peace” with UNDP and Jesuit Fathers Monastery in Homs, it’s launched after the falling of the regime in Syria, it aims to create a safe space for all of the components of the society in Homs city to discuss and build bridges of connection between all of them.

Alongside the social work, she is working on her communication skills in a new way, she is part of the NVC movement in Syria wich works to make peaceful actions a lifestyle not just ink on paper focusing on the mutual need in every conflict. Now she’s also part of "Syria by our Eyes” a project that aims to change the stereotypes about life in Syria and it focuses on the peaceful action among people rather than the violent ones.

Grace’s work is a mix of volunteering and self development, she is learning skills to embrace peace building and she is getting involved in social work that resonates with these skills.
