"Tête en l'art" project with the artistic biography
The project titled "Tête en l'art" is a multidisciplinary initiative combining photography, visual arts, and writing, carried out at the Sacré-Cœur School in Concarneau during the 2022-2023 school year. It is led by three artists: Albane Buriel (writing), Pascale Bodin (visual arts), and Véronique Brod (photography), under the direction of cultural mediator Véronique Lecellier.
Aimed at a CM1/CM2 class (4th and 5th grade), the main objectives of the project are to raise students' awareness of the history of photographic portraiture, encourage them to reflect on self-image, and work on their personal biography. Through 12 workshops over 19 hours, students explore various artistic practices (photography, sketching, collages, painting) and are invited to project themselves into the future through writing and graphic representations. The project culminates in the creation of a booklet gathering all their work, which will be publicly presented to the class and their families.
