Art to Face invites researchers, artists, educators, cultural practitioners and humanitarian actors to contribute to its 2026 Online Showcase & Webinar Series: Arts, Education and Cultural Practices in Crisis and Post-Conflict Contexts.
This international series aims to highlight research, artistic initiatives and educational practices developed in contexts of conflict, crisis, displacement and post-conflict recovery. It seeks to create a space for dialogue and knowledge-sharing among professionals working at the intersection of arts, culture, education and humanitarian action.
Through online presentations and discussions, the programme will showcase diverse experiences from the field and explore the role of arts and cultural education in fostering resilience, memory and social cohesion in fragile environments.
Contributions may include:
academic research (completed or ongoing)
practice-based research
artistic-pedagogical initiatives
community arts projects
humanitarian field projects
exhibitions and artistic productions developed in crisis contexts
The series aims to bring together perspectives from research, artistic practice and humanitarian work, encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration across regions.
The programme is coordinated by Dr. Albane Buriel and Dr. Teresa Torres de Eça within the Art to Face international network.
